青少年英语实用能力交流展示

To all parents, teachers, and contestants of the Youth English Proficiency Demonstration and Communication Show.

Please allow me to introduce the Youth English Proficiency Demonstration and Communication Show.

This annual event started in 2006 and over the past 15 years has grown to be the nation’s most respected event of its kind. With focuses on fluency, accuracy and appropriacy, contestants are evaluated across multiple dimensions. Grading criteria also reference age appropriate content and language use, allowing our panel of expert judges to objectively measure each individual against established criteria. This methodology is at the heart of the Youth English Proficiency Demonstration and Communication Show and underpins our objective of providing students and schools in China with a fair and unbiased platform for students to demonstrate their English language skills in a fun and non-threatening environment. The ultimate goal of all of our activities is to support teachers and parents in providing opportunities for today’s youth: enabling them to develop and achieve their vision of their future, including their academic and career goals.

This is our mission and we thank you for your continued support in achieving it!

这是青少年英语实用能力交流展示的核心理念，也是我们的初衷：建立公平公正的学术交流平台，让中国的学校和学生们于轻松有趣、0压力的环境中学以致用，展现自我。我们举办这些活动，助力老师和家长，为当今孩子们提供机遇，帮助他们遇见更好的自己、实现未来的美好蓝图。
